About Me

Building the future

High school. That’s when it all began for me. I took a class on web design and I was hooked. Looking back, it was really a class on front end development. HTML and CSS were the assignments; not typography, layout, hierarchy, PhotoShop and Illustrator. But it didn’t matter. I loved it. Every second of it.

I’ve built from there. Marketing, Bootstrap, responsive, WordPress… and more and more and more. The list goes on longer than I have time for. The future is always better and brighter. From responsive design to lighter loading scripts – you can do things with your site today that just weren’t possible when I started out.

“The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring.” – Paul Rand

An Inland Empire Transplant

I started doing HTML and CSS in high school in Northern California. That quickly grew into PhotoShop to create graphics and buttons and eventually UI layouts. After graduating, I moved to Utah and started helping people learn to build their own online eCommerce store. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Digital Media with an emphasis in Internet Technology.

I’ve worked with large multi million dollar corporations as well as small mom and pop shops ranging from lawyers to restaurants. I’ve come to specialize in WordPress, expanding on the versatile platform that powers a vast majority of the internet, bending it to do my client’s will.
